The AK Math Academy is an independent, non-profit school that runs from June 9 to June 17, 2016. It's held at Aquarian Charter School from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Held during the traditional summer vacation, the Academy can access the tremendous teaching talent that is now on summer break. Alaska Credentialed teachers who have Masters in Education degrees are the two Academy instructors. Small class size will ensure that your student receives the attention they deserve.

To keep class size small, enrollment will be limited to incoming 3rd and 4th grade students only for summer 2016 and enrollment will be capped at 12 students per class.

At the AK Math Academy, we believe just two weeks of summer math instruction can help students to stay ahead in their mathematics instruction. Under the guidance of expert teachers, our students will work to find the deeper fundamentals of math that will allow them to advance further in their mathematics education. We want students to discover why math is logical, understandable and fun! Using hands-on and active instruction, students will learn how useful and practical math really is.
